Integromics Biomarker Discovery for TIBCO Spotfire supports Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.0 and requires that Microsoft .NET Framework be installed prior to installing TIBCO Spotfire.

If Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 isn't installed when running the TIBCO SpotfireProfessional 4.0 installer, the installer can (if the users accepts this when prompted) download and install it. No such option is available when upgrading older, existing TIBCO Spotfire installations by connecting to a TIBCO Spotfire Server with a TIBCO Spotfire 4.0 deployment though - in this case, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 must be installed before upgrading.

NOTE: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 works side by side with older Framework versions.

NOTE: Microsoft .NET Framework requires Administrator rights to complete installation.

Affymetrix NetAffx Connection Support

Integromics Biomarker Discovery for TIBCO Spotfire v 3.0 supports Affymetrix NetAffx connection. To utilize the new feature to automatically download library files from NetAffx center you will need to have a valid NetAffx login and password to access the annotation data. If you do not have a NetAffx login, you can go to the NetAffx website in: Affymetrix site and click the Register NetAffx link.
