'Next Generation Sequencing and RNA-seq data analysis using SeqSolve'

This workshop is dedicated to the analysis of transcriptome data from “Next-Generation Sequencing” RNA-seq experiments, using the easy-to-use bioinformatics solution SeqSolveTM. Developed by Integromics® and powered by TIBCO® Spotfire®, SeqSolve is an advanced and user-friendly software solution for the tertiary analysis of NGS data.
It is suited for all kind of scientific audience with basic notions of molecular biology (no bioinformatics skill is required) that are willing to learn how to extract easily biological information and draw scientific conclusions from transcriptome data. Moreover, an open session is planned to address specific questions and requests.
We will first introduce NGS technologies and give a general overview of the RNA-seq experiment based on reviews from scientific literature and publicly available reports. We will then present the basics of the data analysis process, and how simple it can be to process and analyze RNA-seq data using SeqSolve. With concrete examples from recent publications we will illustrate how SeqSolve can help researchers to easily extract biological information and draw scientific conclusions from transcriptome data.
